Civic Association

Just what does the CAWSV do for residents? The CAWSV is responsible for such things in our community as:

  • Arranging discount, fixed-price agreements for trash and recycling services.
  • Annually renting large roll-off dumpsters for a spring cleanup at no additional charge to members.
  • Contracting the maintenance of the grass median on Rolling Road.
  • Operating the Neighborhood Watch program that not only helps keep our streets safe, but also protects the resale value of our homes.
  • Publishing a quarterly newsletter - The Village Crier. News emails are also sent out on a more frequent basis.
  • Publishing and distributing - to members only - a Community Directory that lists neighbors and their phone numbers (if you choose).
  • Voicing our collective opinion on issues that impact our community, such as the proposed project to widen Rolling Road.
  • Actively supporting our local schools by working in conjunction with Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs).
